Clean Team Operators (multiple positions)

Job Summary:
Reporting to the Manager of Street Operations, a Clean Team Operator is responsible for the implementation of the Calgary Downtown Association’s Clean Street Program including litter and waste collection, graffiti removal, front-facing customer service representation, and beautification of the Stephen Avenue Mall corridor. These new hires will join the existing team for a busy season on a part-time basis.
Responsibilities:
· Perform daily cleaning of streets, sidewalks, and other public areas
· Operate mobile cleaning equipment such as a truck, UTV, golf cart and side by side units
· Collect and dispose of litter and debris in designated waste receptacles
· Report any hazards or damages to direct supervisor
· Respond to public inquiries and provide a high level of customer service
· Adhere to all health and safety protocols including appropriate PPE
· Represent CDA on street with a positive, outgoing and approachable mindset
· Perform additional duties as assigned by Supervisors
Qualifications:
· Physical stamina and ability to perform daily tasks for extended periods of time
· Ability to lift 50 lbs.
· Ability to work Outdoors
· Ability to work within a team to achieve success
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Must possess an Alberta Driver’s License and a clean driving record
