Position Summary:
Tacten is currently recruiting for an IRATA Level 3 SME. The primary purpose of the position is to apply technical subject matter expertise to support regional sales efforts with regard to mechanical and industrial services. The role is also responsible for supporting Regional Operations Managers, Sales Managers and Embedded Access Planners at current and new Tacten/Acuren customer sites by providing training, coaching and overall technical sales support to increase the likelihood of positive sales outcomes. The role will communicate the company’s unique and diverse value proposition to support the marketing of services within new and existing markets.

Responsibilities:
Supporting business growth by:

Assisting regional operations to understand mechanical services applications;
-
Attending client meetings, presentations, and technical discussions;
-
Educating front line leadership with regard to cost efficiencies associated with the use of rope access;
-
Participating in job walk-downs and scope clarification meetings
Developing mechanical services capability by:
-
Educating operations leadership on the value of rope access applications;
-
Ensuring technical training of new planners and estimators;
-
Assessing current field personnel qualifications to perform new scopes of work;
-
Providing technical, procedural, and resource recommendations to support the delivery of services
Provide on-site support of technical staff by:
-
Developing robust respectful relationships with staff;
-
Ensuring technicians are aware of available technical solutions;
-
Sharing technical expertise and experience with field personnel;
-
Identifying process improvement opportunities;
-
Providing coaching
Requirements:
- IRATA Level 3 Certification
-
Journeyman ticketed would be an asset
-
First Aid certification
-
8-10 years experience performing mechanical work and leading crews.
The position requires understanding and knowledge in the following areas:

Extensive knowledge of mechanical and industrial services processes within refining and chemical facilities;

Proficiency in budgeting, job costing, estimating time and materials and lump sum;

Thorough understanding of the full range of Acuren and Tacten services;
-
Organizational Safety and Quality policies, practices and standards
-
Extensive knowledge of forecasting and proposal development.
