Summary
Join our team as an SRT Operator and play a key role in building high-quality electronic assemblies that power innovative solutions. We are urgently looking to fill one (1) opening on afternoon shift. In this hands-on role, you’ll work with advanced technology, perform precision soldering, and contribute to the success of our production operations. This position reports to the Afternoon Primary Leader or designate.
What You’ll Do
- Execute production steps following clear work instructions to ensure top-quality results.
- Operate the SRT machine, assist in developing profiles, and set up tooling and procedures.
- Create, update, and maintain SRT programs for efficient operations.
- Perform soldering of through-hole and SMT components on PCBs with precision.
- Communicate any issues promptly to your Supervisor and help maintain smooth workflows.
- Verify all processes meet documentation and quality standards.
- Collaborate with your shift Supervisor to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Support product integration and simple assembly tasks when needed.
- Conduct repairs and rework on PCB assemblies using IPC standards.
- Operate repair stations and handle materials safely using ESD guidelines.
- Maintain high-quality standards throughout production.
- Assist other production areas as needed—teamwork is key!
What We’re Looking For
- Solid understanding of electronic assemblies, including through-hole and SMT components, drawings, and BOMs.
- Knowledge of quality systems and ESD control.
- Familiarity with IPC Standards for PCB repair; ISO 9002 experience is a plus.
- Ability to read drawings, BOMs, and schematics accurately.
- A team player who is reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to excellence.
- Strong English communication skills (read, write, speak).
- 2–3 years of soldering experience.
- Certificate or Diploma in Electronics or enrollment in a technical program.
- Lean Manufacturing knowledge is an asset.

LOCATION - 100% ON-SITE
- The position location is based in Markham, Ontario facilities (Building A at 195 Royal Crest Court and/or Building B at 3930 14th Avenue)
- Incumbent must be open to working at both facilities as business and operational needs dictate
WORK HOURS
- Regular shift: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM (Afternoon Shift) (may be scheduled for training on day shift as needed)
