Position Overview
We are looking for a Senior Carpenter with strong residential construction experience to join our build team. This role is ideal for someone who takes ownership of their work, understands quality construction standards, and can work independently or lead others when required.
You do not need to be a certified carpenter. However, extensive hands-on residential carpentry experience is required and must be clearly demonstrated on your resume.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and install decks, pergolas, sunrooms, and related residential structures
- Read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications
- Execute framing, finishing, and installation work to a high standard
- Ensure job sites remain clean, organized, and safe
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients when needed
- Troubleshoot construction challenges and make sound on-site decisions
- Mentor or support junior carpenters when required
Required Experience and Skills
- Strong residential carpentry background with multiple years of experience
- Proven experience in deck construction, framing, and exterior finishing
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- High attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
- Solid understanding of construction tools, materials, and best practices
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Experience must be clearly shown on your resume
- Must have a valid drivers license and vehicle
Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
