About the Role
We are seeking a reliable Class 1 Truck Driver to support our hauling operations on a casual, as-needed basis. This role involves hauling rock products from our quarry to our sister company, as well as local and Alberta customers.
This position is ideal for someone looking for part-time work, such as a semi-retired driver or someone who is available to fill in when needed. Work may vary week to week depending on demand, and availability for short-notice shifts is an asset.
Skills & Experience
- Valid Class 1 licence required
- Confident driving in mountain and winter conditions
- Ability to back into tight spaces
- Experience loading and unloading rock preferred
- End dump and side dump experience is an asset
- Experience with Geotab is an asset
- Reliable, independent, and able to communicate effectively
Location & Routes
- Our quarry operations are based near Cranbrook, BC (approximately 4 km up Lumberton Rd)
- Hauling routes include deliveries in BC and into Alberta
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays as needed.
- Casual/part-time, based on operational needs.
Compensation
- $32–$40/hour, depending on experience
