Overview
We are seeking a skilled Grademan to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience on the ground working directly with heavy equipment. They require a strong understanding of grading, excavation sequencing and finished product . This role is essential to ensuring that our projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. As a Grademan, you will be for providing grade control for the projects collaborating with other team members to achieve project goals.
Responsibilities
- Ensure proper grading of surfaces for construction projects, maintaining specifications and quality standards.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other crew members to coordinate work activities and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are stored properly after use.
- Follow all safety guidelines and regulations while on site.
Skills
- Setting up lasers level and providing grade control
- Mentoring new workers
- Good attitude
- Knowledge of construction practices and procedures related to grading and paving operations.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
