Sandblasting and Coating Company:
Day-to-day operator of the business, responsible for operations, projects, QC, safety, finance/admin, and client management.
Operations & Project Management
Coordinate workforce, crews, and equipment across all active projects.
Determine crew scheduling and project priorities.
Coordinate mobilization/demobilization.
Conduct site visits and project walkdowns.
Monitor project schedules and identify delays/problems.
Coordinate subcontractors as needed.
Ensure required materials, consumables, and equipment are available.
Deal directly with clients regarding scheduling, progress, and operational issues.
Safety & Compliance
Ensure required safety documentation is completed/submitted.
Submit and maintain worker safety tickets.
Prepare/review JHAs and site-specific documentation.
Ensure crews meet client and site safety requirements.
Coordinate corrective actions following incidents or deficiencies.
Quality Control
Review client coating specifications before projects begin.
Develop/coordinate ITPs.
Ensure required QC inspections and documentation are completed.
Maintain project turnover/QC packages.
Address client QC deficiencies and non-conformance issues.
Financial / Project Controls
Prepare or oversee project budgets.
Track actual job costs against estimates.
Monitor labor, equipment, material, and subcontractor costs.
Identify projects trending over budget.
Review project profitability after completion.
Submit client invoices promptly.
Review/approve vendor invoices.
Monitor receivables/payables with ownership/bookkeeping.
Review and submit bi-weekly employee hours.
Verify employee time against projects.
Allocate labor/equipment/material costs to appropriate jobs.
People Management
Manage employee performance and discipline.
Supervise foremen/supervisors.
Address employee issues.
Maintain appropriate staffing levels for upcoming work.
Operate within defined spending and decision-making authority.
Pay: $100,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
