We are seeking a knowledgeable and personable Budtender to join our team. The Budtender will play a key role in maintaining compliance, merchandising, and fostering customer loyalty within our dispensary.
Duties
- Assist customers in selecting products based on their needs and preferences, offering expert guidance on effects and usage.
- Operate POS systems accurately for sales transactions, cash handling, and inventory management.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, display cases, and storage areas.
- Upsell products and promote new or featured items to maximize sales opportunities
- Ensure compliance with all state and local regulations regarding product sales and documentation.
- Handle cashiering duties efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
- Support merchandising efforts by organizing displays and restocking shelves as needed.
- Participate in inventory counts and assist with stock management to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Engage with customers professionally, demonstrating strong communication skills and organizational abilities.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales, hospitality, or a similar customer-focused environment is preferred.
- Experience operating POS systems, cashiering, or computer operation skills are highly desirable
- Knowledge of basic math for cash handling and transaction accuracy is essential.
- Experience in merchandising or organizational skills will support effective store presentation.
- Strong communication skills to engage customers effectively and provide excellent service.
