Fence Crew Lead – Pacific Fence Co. (Nanaimo / Parksville / Qualicum)
We are a growing fence company looking for a reliable Fence Crew Lead who can both lead jobs and work alongside a labourer on installs.
This is a hands-on role. You will be expected to actively build fences while also taking responsibility for the job, the pace, and the final result.
The goal is for the right person to grow into running their own crew independently.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Leading fence installations (cedar, vinyl, and metal)
- Working on the tools alongside a labourer
- Managing and directing a labourer on site
- Laying out jobs and ensuring everything is built correctly
- Keeping jobs on schedule and running efficiently
- Communicating with homeowners when needed
- Maintaining a clean and organized job site
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in fencing, carpentry, or similar trades
- Comfortable working physically and staying productive on site
- Ability to lead while still working with the crew
- Strong problem-solving skills and independence
- Valid driver’s license-experience driving a truck with a trailer
- Reliable and consistent
