The Opportunity
We are expanding our Ottawa/ Gatineau roster and are currently seeking professional Servers, Bartenders, and Cooks to join our on-call team. These roles are ideal for hospitality professionals seeking flexible schedules, diverse work environments, and reliable bi-weekly pay.
What You Will Do
Servers
- Set up event spaces (tables, chairs, linens, tableware, décor).
- Serve food and beverages in a professional and courteous manner.
- Attend to guest needs throughout service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization during events.
- Assist with post-event breakdown and cleanup.
Bartenders
- Prepare and serve beverages efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Mix cocktails using standard recipes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar.
- Process drink orders accurately and collaborate with event staff.
Cooks
- Prepare and execute menu items according to established standards.
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion control.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Support kitchen operations during events and service periods.
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum 1 year of relevant hospitality experience.
- English or French fluency required, strong verbal communication skills essential.
- Bilingual (French/English) is an asset
- Availability for flexible, on-call shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to reliably commute within the Ottawa and/or Gatineau region.
- Professional appearance, reliability, and strong customer-service skills.
- Ability to obtain and wear an approved uniform; non-slip shoes required.
- Valid SmartServe certification for Servers, and Bartenders, or willingness to obtain.
- Food safety certification for Cooks (or willingness to obtain).
