ASCO Aerospace Canada is a division of Montana Aerospace, with our facility located in Delta, BC. We are looking for an Inventory Clerk to join our team at the Canadian operations.
The Inventory Clerk plays a critical role in maintaining accurate and efficient inventory control within ASCO Aerospace Canada. This position ensures alignment between physical inventory and ERP system records, supports production through timely material availability, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives in a Lean manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure alignment between physical stock and ERP system data.
- Perform and support cycle counts, annual inventory counts, and reconciliation of discrepancies.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Manage replenishment as needed, overstock (cage), scrap, and Inventory Logistics Services (ILS).
- Monitor and manage end-of-life materials to minimize waste and cost.
- Support ribs assembly kitting to ensure efficient production flow.
- Assist with inventory transactions including receiving, issuing, and adjustments.
- Support manufacturing initiatives including 5S and continuous improvement activities.
- Provide guidance and support to team members on inventory processes and system usage.
- Act as backup support for archiving and other logistics functions as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in supply chain or logistics is an asset.
- 1–5 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse, or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Experience working with ERP systems is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret basic documentation and reports.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Knowledge of Lean principles is an asset.
Physical & Work Requirements
- Ability to work in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Good hand-eye coordination and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Willingness to work shifts (days, afternoons, nights, weekends as required).
Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
