Master Mechanic is growing again. We are seeking a dedicated Service Advisor to join our team at Master Mechanic Barrie East. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their needs are met while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires strong communication skills, mechanical knowledge, and a passion for the automotive industry.
Duties
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, establishing a positive rapport.
- Assess customer needs and provide accurate information regarding vehicle repairs and services.
- Schedule appointments and manage the service department's workflow efficiently.
- Present factor maintenance and products based on customer needs and vehicle condition.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain records of all financial transactions.
- Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely and effective service delivery.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Maintain an organized workspace and adhere to dealership policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an automotive repair shop environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on building lasting relationships.
- Advanced computer skills, and knowledge auto repair shop software tools.
- Experience with cash handling procedures is essential.
- Mechanical knowledge is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with automotive repair processes and terminology is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
