Summary
Supporting the Quality Department by performing material and product receiving inspections, performing FAIs and conformance inspections, issuing NCRs for non-conforming parts, maintaining and scheduling equipment calibration, communicating with Suppliers regarding non-conforming or rejected parts, and issuing and maintaining serial numbers for newly manufactured product.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct receiving inspection processes and generate conformity reports
- NCR administrator – generate, follow up for MRB approval, monitors the status and closing NCRs.
- Process RTV (return to Vendor) materials/parts
- Maintains parts traceability
- Conducting containment, segregation of nonconforming inventory & managing NCR parts
- Maintaining, organizing MRB cage using 5S or similar methodology and ensuring timely follow through on Material Review Board (MRB) dispositions
- Maintaining and updating the testing and measuring equipment maintenance and calibration register
- Completing Paperwork and GSS transaction of RTV parts (MRN or similar), admin tasks with a superior level of accuracy
- Perform AUI (Aircraft Unit Inspection) on sub-assemblies and final assemblies
- Maintaining, organizing MRB cage using 5S or similar methodology and ensuring timely follow of QMS related processes
What You Bring
- A combination of relevant education and experience
- Able to read technical specifications or drawings
- Strong Attention to detail for eliminating errors on documents & data
- A self-starter, having self-discipline and the ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Good interpersonal skills, combined with excellent analytical skills
- Experience in using measurement tools (Caliper, Micrometers, etc.)
- Familiarity with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
- Intermediate to Strong in English writing Skills for creating documents & good verbal skills
- Familiar with working in ERP systems (GSS or similar)
- Good organizational skills in terms of understanding process, priorities and follow through
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Knowledge or familiarity with ISO 9001, AS 9100 and AS9102 is an asset

Abilities Required
At minimum be able to lift objects weighing between 25 – 50 Lbs.
