SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
The Shipper Receiver is responsible for ensuring efficient operation of the shipping and receiving department. This position will have an ability to safely operate various handheld tools as well as operate a forklift.
This position must have an acute attention to detail with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Fulfill all orders within a timely manner minimizing shipping errors
· Prepare shipping schedules and verify accuracy of all incoming and outgoing shipments
· Be a point of contact for customers, resolving any discrepancies and concerns
· Liaise with 3rd party trucking companies for shipment
· Inspect and document damaged product and discrepancies for reconciliation
· Apply labels to product before shipment
· Maintain documentation of all inbound and outbound shipment
· An ability to utilize a forklift and perform inspections
· Ensure warehouse cleanliness daily
· Inspect all product and communicate to management of any inconsistencies
· Move items to appropriate areas
· Support other departments as needed
· Always adhere to company safety policies
· Ensure all health and safety guidelines are being followed
· Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION:
Required: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
Preferred: Forklift ticket
EXPERIENCE:
Required: Minimum 3+ years of experience

· Aptitude for problem solving
· An ability to remain focused and efficient while working within tight deadlines
· An ability to resolve issues in high pressure situations
· Excellent communication and organization skills
· An ability to lift 10 lbs. or more

· An ability to work independently and as part of a team
· An ability to work with minimal supervision
