Overview
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete work, including finishing, forming, and restoration. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in various weather conditions. As a Concrete Finisher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that concrete surfaces are smooth, level, and aesthetically pleasing.
Duties
- Prepare and set up forms for pouring concrete.
- Mix, pour, and spread concrete according to specifications.
- Finish surfaces using hand tools and heavy equipment.
- Smooth and level surfaces using trowels, floats, and other finishing tools.
- Inspect finished work for quality assurance and compliance with blueprints.
- Perform heavy lifting as required during the pouring process.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure timely project completion.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols.
Skills
- Ability to read blueprints and understand project specifications.
- Familiarity with hand tools used in concrete forming and finishing tasks.
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for long periods.
- Basic carpentry skills for formwork construction.
