About Home Support Senior Care
Home Support Senior Care (HSSC) connects compassionate and reliable Personal Support Workers (PSWs) with clients requiring quality in-home support throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
We are seeking experienced PSWs who are passionate about providing respectful, dependable care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and individuals requiring assistance in their daily routines.
This is an independent contractor opportunity offering flexibility to accept care assignments based on your availability, experience, and preferred service areas.
As a Personal Support Worker with HSSC, you may provide support with:
- Assistance with activities of daily living, including personal care, bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Companionship and emotional support while respecting each client's dignity, preferences, and routines
- Meal preparation and assistance with maintaining healthy eating habits
- Medication reminders and support according to the client's care plan
- Light housekeeping duties, including laundry, tidying, and maintaining a safe home environment
- Assistance with transfers and mobility using safe care practices
- Observing and reporting changes in a client's condition, needs, or concerns to the appropriate contacts
- Supporting clients living with dementia, disabilities, chronic conditions, or age-related challenges
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid Personal Support Worker (PSW) certificate
- Experience providing care in private homes, retirement residences, hospitals, or community settings
- Experience supporting seniors and individuals with varying care needs
- Compassion, patience, reliability, and strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently while following client care plans and safety procedures
Applicants must provide:
- PSW certificate
- Valid CPR/First Aid Certificate
- Vulnerable Sector Check or Criminal Record Check (within last 9 months)
- Proof of eligibility to work in Canada
- Valid certificate of PSW professional liability insurance

Pay: $21.00 per hour
