About the Opportunity
cam|industrial is looking for an experienced Field Service Lead for a full time role in the Edmonton area. This role will be a key part of our organization helping develop business and oversee all projects in the area. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Field Operations Manager helping them develop and build the team and local business.
Our technicians work on a variety of projects, primarily in the material handling industry which include pallet racking, mezzanines, shelving, automated storage, conveyors, packaging equipment and dock equipment. The scope of work includes construction, maintenance, and repairs. We are looking for someone with technical skills and leadership abilities to assist in these types of projects.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience
- Commitment and proven record to work safely
- Ability to read blueprints and follow blueprints
- Strong communication skills, and ability to lead crew members
- Understanding and dedication to customer service excellence
- Attention to detail
- Willingness to travel
- Valid driver's license
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Construction of material handling and storage systems and products, including pallet racking structures, mezzanines and work platforms, shelving systems, conveyors and packaging lines and equipment.
- Assist and work with the design, engineering, project management, and sales teams including client communications, site assessments, constructability reviews, vendor communications and project planning and costing.
- Complete required safety paperwork, and field reports promptly and accurately.
- Complete training as required
- Operate various equipment (forklifts, telehandlers…)
- Operate various power tools specific to the job
Relevant education, certifications, and tickets
- Journeyman trade certifications nice to have
- Project management experience
- First Aid / CPR

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $28.00-$34.00 per hour
