Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Bilingual Construction Labourer fluent in English And Ukraine and to join our dynamic construction team. This role involves supporting various construction projects, assisting skilled tradespeople, and ensuring the successful completion of building tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment. Prior construction experience and familiarity with a range of tools and techniques are highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including material handling and equipment organization
- Support skilled tradespeople with tasks such as carpentry, masonry, plumbing, electrical work, and concrete finishing
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently under supervision
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to assist with project execution
- Perform concrete forming, tile laying, flooring installation, cabinet installation, and restoration tasks as needed
- Apply caulking, paint surfaces, or perform other finishing touches to meet project specifications
- Assist in the installation of electrical components or plumbing fixtures where applicable
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and procedures
- Communicate effectively with team members in both English and to ensure smooth workflow
Requirements
- Bilingual proficiency in Ukraine and English is essential
- Prior experience in construction or related fields preferred
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating is a plus
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation
- Experience with concrete forming, masonry, welding, restoration work, or flooring installation is advantageous
- Ability to follow safety guidelines diligently on-site
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various construction tasks
- Valid driver’s license is preferred but not mandatory
