Position Overview
We are seeking motivated and reliable Lead HVAC Install Technicians to join our growing installation team across the Kitchener region.
Whether your strengths lie in service and troubleshooting or installation and system setup, we want to hear from you. Based on your experience and certifications, you’ll focus on either service, installation, or a mix of both — all within your local and surround regions (no need to travel across the province).
As part of our skilled field team, you’ll work directly with homeowners to deliver exceptional comfort solutions through expert workmanship, professionalism, and customer care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in installing a variety of HVAC systems, including gas furnaces, AC units, tankless water heaters, and heat pumps.
- Follow installation standards and company procedures to ensure quality and safety compliance.
- Support Senior Install Technicians in loading, transporting, and staging equipment and materials.
- Perform basic diagnostics and minor troubleshooting under supervision.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed using mobile or written forms.
- Follow all company safety policies, regulations, and training.
- Provide excellent customer service at all times.
Qualifications
- G2 Gas Technician License or 313D Refrigeration License (required).
- Minimum 3-5 years of HVAC experience (service, installation, or both).
- ODP (Ozone Depletion Prevention) certification required.
- Strong technical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid Ontario driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and working in various environments (attics, rooftops, crawlspaces).
