Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in barbering and customer service, with the ability to create a welcoming environment for clients. As a Barber, you will be responsible for providing high-quality haircuts, shaves, and grooming services while also engaging in retail sales and upselling products to enhance the client experience. Ability to do fades & line ups is a must.
Pay can be discussed upon interview. Starting wage is $20 an hour or commission split based payment model
Duties
- Provide professional haircuts, shaves, and grooming services tailored to individual client preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools and workstations in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and offer personalized recommendations.
- Assist with front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries.
- Engage in retail sales by promoting and upselling products to clients.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and grooming techniques to provide the best service possible.
- Foster a friendly and inviting atmosphere that encourages repeat business.
Requirements
- Proven experience in barbering with a strong emphasis on customer service.
- Ability to do fades and modern style
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Ability to perform retail sales activities, including upselling products.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining sanitation standards.
