Overview
Do you love to work with people? We are a locally owned flooring, tile, cabinet, and countertop store serving Vernon and the surrounding Okanagan area. A one-stop-shop that can offer many parts of a home renovation project or commercial space improvement. We are seeking a highly motivated, customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team. This role combines in-store sales, outside sales and client relationship management to help grow our residential and commercial business.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Service
- Greet and assist walk-in customers in the showroom
- Provide knowledgeable guidance on flooring, tile, cabinetry, and countertop products
- Help customers solve their problems by helping them to select materials that meet their design, budget, and functional needs
- Prepare and present estimates, close sales and complete sales orders
- Follow up on leads, quotes, and ongoing projects
- Coordinate with installers, suppliers, and internal staff to ensure smooth project completion
- Maintain strong relationships with existing and future clients who are homeowners, contractors, designers, and builders
Showroom & Administrative Duties
- Enter and manage customer data in the sales system
- Assist with basic project coordination and supplier communication
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven sales track record (home improvement, flooring, tile, or cabinetry an asset)
- Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.

- Active listening & problem-solving
- Interest in interior design, construction, or home renovation will be a benefit
- Comfortable using computers, email, and point-of-sale or quoting systems (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
