Job Summary
We are seeking reliable and hardworking Movers to join our team. This role involves assisting with the safe and efficient transportation of goods, furniture, and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle heavy lifting. Prior warehouse experience, commercial driving skills, and familiarity with forklifts are a plus. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where customer service and safety are top priorities.
Responsibilities
- Safely load, unload, and move items using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery as needed (training provided)
- Assist with packing, unpacking, and organizing items for transport or storage
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate moving tasks
- Ensure all items are secured properly during transit to prevent damage
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs professionally and courteously
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
Experience
- Prior experience in moving, warehouse operations, or related fields is preferred but not required
- Experience operating forklifts or commercial vehicles is a plus
- Strong physical ability for heavy lifting and manual labor
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and clients
- Familiarity with warehouse procedures or commercial driving is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards
Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour
