Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee complex construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of construction management software, and expertise in project planning, scheduling, and execution. This role involves coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing budgets, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to quality standards. The Senior Project Manager will play a pivotal role in driving project success while maintaining safety and compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
- Develop detailed project plans using construction management software such as Primavera P6 and HeavyBid.
- Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and civil 3D models to guide project execution.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
- Monitor project progress through regular site visits and meetings; adjust plans as necessary to address issues promptly.
- Manage procurement processes including construction estimating and sourcing materials.
- Oversee safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Utilize tools like ProCore, Bluebeam, and other construction management software for documentation, reporting, and communication.
- Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders; manage project documentation meticulously.
- Mentor junior team members and support professional development initiatives within the team.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in civil engineering or related fields.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and civil 3D modeling.
- Extensive knowledge of construction estimating techniques and tools such as HeavyBid.
- Strong familiarity with project management software including Primavera P6, ProCore, Bluebeam, and other construction management platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with excellent time management skills.
- Experience in construction scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to coordinate diverse teams effectively.
- Relevant certifications such as PMP or CCM are preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This position offers an opportunity to lead high-impact projects within a dynamic organization committed to excellence in construction delivery.
Pay: $5,000.00-$10,000.00 per month
