Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and assisting with inquiries.
- Operate cash registers, process transactions accurately, and handle cash responsibly.
- Restock shelves, organize products, and maintain store cleanliness and merchandising standards.
- Conduct product demonstrations to highlight features, benefits, and promotions.
- Support inventory management efforts by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Use in-store technology for sales tracking and reporting.
- Recommend and upsell products to meet customer needs and drive sales.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are an asset.
- Previous retail experience, especially in customer service and cashier roles.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail for accurate transaction handling.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and retail technology.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Comfortable leading product demonstrations and engaging with customers.
- Knowledge of effective merchandising strategies to improve product visibility.
- Professional phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries.
- Ability to upsell while maintaining a customer-focused approach.
