Are you hands-on, reliable, and eager to be part of a dynamic manufacturing team? Slimline Manufacturing is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Shop Hand to join our dedicated workforce and support our production operations.

Key Responsibilities
Kitting Support
- Assist with kitting according to work orders, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and pick lists as required.
- Verify production kits to ensure accuracy, completeness, and readiness for production.
- Deliver production kits to the shop floor in a timely manner to support production schedules.
Production Operations Support
- Assist with a variety of shop tasks, including shop organization, equipment upkeep, and supporting daily production operations.
- Provide general production support and assist with manufacturing-related tasks as required.
Equipment Maintenance
- Assist with the upkeep and maintenance of shop tools and equipment, ensuring they remain clean, organized, and in safe working condition.
Shop Organization
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following company safety procedures and best practices.
Collaboration
- Work closely with team members to communicate priorities, needs, and updates, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Support the Production Team with additional tasks and responsibilities as required.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy (critical for kitting).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret Bills of Materials (BOMs), work orders, and pick lists.
- Minimum one (1) year of manufacturing experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft 365.
- ERP experience is considered an asset.
- Strong communication skills with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage changing priorities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs
- Position requires standing for up to 8 hours with frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, and bending.
- Valid driver's licence.
