Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dependable Restaurant Staff to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work in all of the different roles in a food industry. From cashier, cook, food assembly and dishwasher.
Duties
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and quality standards. These include cooking, preparing and assembling food/meals.
- Opening and closing store which includes preparing the store needs for the day and cleaning for the end of shift.
- Greet customers, take orders, and serve food in a friendly and efficient manner
- Manage cash transactions accurately and handle customer payments with professionalism
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment
- Assist with food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Ensure timely delivery of orders to tables or takeout customers
Experience
- 5 years of work experience. Previous experience in food service is not required but preferred.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen safety standards is advantageous
- Experience with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
- Prior experience in cashiering or food industry roles is beneficial but training will be provided for the right candidates
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: $16.75 per hour
