License AME Mechanic , Full Time – YOW Airport
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Install and certify installation of components, Service Bulletins, modifications and scheduled inspection.
- Ability to work outside at times
- Have a understanding of Canadian Aviation Regulations.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Must be able to make decisive decisions.
- Perform functional tests and adjustments on aircraft systems;
- Inspect and maintain mechanical systems (e.g. hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel, air conditioning, doors, landing gear, flight control, etc.);
- Prepare aircraft for flight (refueling, daily inspection);
- Carry out modifications according to service bulletins while respecting industry standards;
- Participate in the Safety Management System (SMS)
- Perform all other related tasks as required
Requirements
- You have a college or professional training:
- Diploma (D.E.C.) or (A.E.C.) in aircraft maintenance or an equivalent diploma.
- Must have AME License class M2 or M1
- You have two (2) years experience as an aircraft maintenance engineer – preferred
- You are able to read technical drawings and maintenance manuals;
- You are flexible with respect to work shifts .
- CRJ, ATR and DASH 8 endorsement would be considered an asset
