Responsibilities:
- · Install and certify installation of components, Service Bulletins, modifications and scheduled inspection.
- · Perform and ensure proper completion of all maintenance activities on aircraft
- · Ensure aircraft documentation is complete and accurate
- · Ensure that all components are installed on aircrafts in accordance with company and Transport Canada regulations;
- · Carry out duties as per the appropriate maintenance control manual and ensure conformity to Transport Canada regulatory standards;
- · Work with planning department to create scope of work for major inspection and request for proposal
- · Always maintain and ensure a clean and safe work environment;
- · Have a understanding of Canadian Aviation Regulations.
- · Must be able to make decisive decisions.

- · Take a proactive role in hangar organization and cleanliness
- · Perform functional tests and adjustments on aircraft systems;
- · Inspect and maintain mechanical systems (e.g. hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel, air conditioning, doors, landing gear, flight control, etc.);
- · Prepare aircraft for flight (refueling, daily inspection);
- · Participate in the Safety Management System (SMS)
- · Perform all other related tasks as required
Requirements
- Diploma (D.E.C.) or (A.E.C.) in aircraft maintenance or an equivalent diploma.
- AME class M2, M1 E or S
- You have five (2) years experience as an aircraft maintenance engineer – preferred
- You are able to read technical drawings and maintenance manuals;
- You are flexible with respect to work shifts .
- CRJ, ATR and DASH 8 endorsement would be considered an asset
