What you'll do
- Perform line clearance and vegetation management around energized utility lines
- Operate and maintain equipment including bucket trucks, chippers, and trim saws
- Work safely to all applicable utility and arboriculture standards
- Work as part of a crew under a team leader
What we're looking for
- An Apprentice Utility Arborist (AUA) certificate at minimum, or a full Certified Utility Arborist (CUA) certificate (the BC utility arborist designations)
- A minimum of 5 years in the tree industry, including at least 2 years in the utility field
- Proof of hours and mentorship
- A Class 5 licence with air brakes
- Bucket truck experience
- A high producer who gets after it and puts up real numbers, without ever cutting corners on safety
- Safety first, always. We push hard, but nothing comes before going home safe every day
