Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing excellent customer service, skilled in food and beverage preparation, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. This role involves crafting high-quality coffee and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all customers. Previous experience in the food industry or as a barista is preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and specialty beverages according to company standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately, including cashiering duties
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food handling and safety procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and addressing their needs promptly
- Assist with food preparation and serving as needed during busy periods
- Manage time effectively to ensure quick service during peak hours
- Follow all food safety guidelines to ensure quality and safety of products served
- Restock supplies and ingredients as necessary to ensure smooth operations
Skills
- Previous Barista experience or food service experience is preferred
- Proficiency with POS systems, especially Micros POS
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Effective communication skills to interact with team members and customers effectively

Pay: $19.00-$27.42 per hour
