We're looking for an enthusiastic and creative instructor to teach live online classes that help children explore the world of digital content creation.
Our learners love gaming, technology, and creativity. Many already enjoy creating YouTube videos, designing thumbnails, editing videos, or dreaming of becoming content creators. We're looking for someone who can help them build real-world digital media skills in a fun, engaging, and age-appropriate way.
This is a remote independent contractor position. You'll teach live classes using curriculum created by our organization while bringing your own teaching style, personality, and creativity to each lesson.
What You'll Teach
Depending on your experience, classes may include:
- Creating a YouTube channel safely and responsibly
- Canva graphic design
- Thumbnail design
- Video editing using beginner-friendly software
- Storytelling and content planning
- Recording high-quality videos
- Building confidence on camera
- Branding and channel identity
- Intro to streaming
- Digital creativity and online safety
Additional classes may be added based on your strengths and interests.
Responsibilities
- Teach engaging live online classes for children (approximately ages 8–15).
- Foster a positive, encouraging classroom environment.
- Adapt lessons to learners' interests while following the class objectives.
- Arrive prepared and on time for all scheduled classes.
- Communicate professionally with our organization regarding scheduling and class updates.
- Encourage creativity, participation, and learner confidence.
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience creating digital content (YouTube, video production, graphic design, streaming, social media, or similar).
- Enjoys working with children.
- Is confident speaking in front of groups.
- Is patient, enthusiastic, and encouraging.
- Has strong communication skills.
- Is reliable and professional.
- Has access to a reliable computer, internet connection, webcam, and microphone.
Teaching experience is an asset but not required. We value engaging instructors who can connect with young learners.

This position begins with an initial 6-month independent contractor agreement. There is the opportunity to renew the contract based on mutual interest, performance, and the needs of the organization.
