Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Kitchen Helper/Driver to support our culinary and logistics operations. This role involves assisting with kitchen duties, handling food preparation, and safely transporting goods and supplies. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience with moving and heavy lifting, and a valid commercial driver’s license. Duties
- Assist with food preparation, cleaning, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness
- Move supplies, ingredients, and equipment within the kitchen area using proper techniques
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely when necessary
- Load and unload deliveries using appropriate handling methods
- Safely drive commercial vehicles to deliver supplies or pick up items from designated locations
- Ensure timely transportation of goods while adhering to safety regulations
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries or pickups
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding schedules, deliveries, and operational needs
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in both the kitchen and warehouse areas
Qualifications
- Experience in warehouse operations or commercial driving preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical moving tasks safely
- Valid commercial driver’s license required
- Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interactions
- Experience operating forklifts or similar equipment is a plus
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to moving, driving, and warehouse environments
- Prior experience in a kitchen or food service setting is advantageous but not mandatory
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Pay: $15.90-$22.99 per hour
