Part-Time Flooring Measurement / Estimator
An established flooring company is looking for a part-time Flooring Measurement / Estimator to assist with onsite measurements.
This position is ideal for individuals seeking flexible part-time work, including stay-at-home parents, semi-retired people with strong computer skills, or individuals looking for supplemental income. The role offers independence, flexible scheduling, and the opportunity to work in the field rather than in a traditional office environment.

Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to provide three recent consecutive claims-free years conviction-free abstract
- Must be able to provide provable insurance claims history within the past 3-years
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site measurements and assessments using estimating tools
- Prepare accurate flooring estimates based on materials, labor, and project requirements
- Review blueprints and project specifications
- Identify materials, labor requirements, and installation considerations
- Communicate effectively with customers, sales staff, and installers
- Travel throughout the work area for site visits and measurements
- Assist in resolving project challenges and providing solutions
Qualifications
- Knowledge in construction, flooring, or interior design
- Knowledge of flooring materials, installation methods, and safety considerations
- Basic mathematical and analytical skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel for site visits
- Resourceful, detail-oriented, and proactive problem solver
Compensation & Benefits
- $25/hr
- Company vehicle and fuel card provided for work-related travel

Schedule Flexibility

Training will be provided for the right candidate.
Most measurements are scheduled during daytime hours, making this role suitable for individuals with flexible daytime availability.
