Overview
We are seeking a talented and motivated Breakfast Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, cooking, and delivering exceptional breakfast experiences to our guests. The Breakfast Chef will oversee the preparation and presentation of breakfast dishes, ensure food safety standards are maintained, and lead a team of kitchen staff to deliver high-quality service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Supervise kitchen staff during breakfast service, ensuring efficient workflow and quality control
- Oversee food handling procedures, maintaining strict adherence to food safety regulations
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients
- Lead food preparation activities, ensuring timely delivery of orders while maintaining consistency
- Train and mentor team members in food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and hospitality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with health regulations
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop menu items and improve service quality
- Serve as a role model for professionalism, teamwork, and leadership within the kitchen environment
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant management within the food industry or hospitality sector
- Supervising experience or team management skills are highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of food handling safety standards and kitchen operations
- Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on teamwork and customer service
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Experience in restaurant or kitchen environments with a focus on breakfast or morning service preferred
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, or flexible hours as needed
- A passion for culinary arts and delivering exceptional guest experiences
Pay: $15.00-$34.85 per hour
