About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Kinesiologist to join our team as an independent contractor, providing community-based kinesiology services to ICBC clients. This role involves working directly with individuals recovering from motor vehicle–related injuries in community settings such as clients’ homes, local gyms, or community facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver community-based kinesiology services to ICBC clients
- Conduct functional and physical assessments in community environments
- Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation and exercise programs
- Monitor client progress and modify programs to support recovery goals
- Educate clients on safe movement, injury prevention, and self-management
- Complete accurate and timely ICBC-compliant documentation and reporting
- Communicate with ICBC, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders as required
- Maintain professional, ethical, and regulatory standards at all times
Required Qualifications
- Registered Kinesiologist in good standing
- BCAK Certification (British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists)
- Professional Liability Insurance (mandatory)
- Ability to work independently in community settings
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with ICBC clients or motor vehicle injury rehabilitation
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Experience in community-based or mobile rehabilitation services
