Position Summary
The Financial Service Representative is responsible for supporting customers in an inbound call center environment who have submitted applications for financial products. This position focuses on application processing, account support, documentation accuracy, and adherence to regulatory and company compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with the completion of new loan applications, ensuring all required information is accurately collected, verified, and entered into company systems.
- Review and verify customer income and employment documentation in accordance with established company guidelines and regulatory compliance standards.
- Provide clear and accurate explanations of loan terms, conditions, repayment schedules, and account obligations to ensure full customer understanding.
- Process payments and account transactions, and review account activity with customers to provide clarity regarding balances, payment allocations, and next steps.
- Provide retention and resolution support to existing customers by addressing concerns, managing complaints, and delivering appropriate solutions in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain detailed, accurate, and up-to-date documentation of all customer interactions within company systems.
- Ensure all calls, records, and account updates meet internal quality assurance standards and compliance requirements.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and established service-level expectations.
- Maintain a high level of productivity, accuracy, and customer service performance within a fast-paced call center environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum three (3) years of customer service or sales-related experience
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Typing speed of 30+ words per minute
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency with computer systems and digital tools
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Demonstrated reliability and consistent attendance
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting wage of $18.25 per hour
