Clarity Learning & Therapy, is seeking an experienced Behaviour Therapist to join our growing multidisciplinary team as a Part-Time Independent Contractor. We are looking for a compassionate, motivated, and experienced clinician who enjoys supporting children and young adults of all ages through evidence-based behavioural intervention.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping individuals develop communication, social, emotional regulation, adaptive living, and daily living skills while working collaboratively with Behaviour Analysts, Psychologists, Psychotherapists, and other allied health professionals.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one ABA and behaviour therapy services in clinic, community, and school settings as appropriate.
- Implement behaviour support plans and skill acquisition programmes developed by Behaviour Analysts.
- Support children and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, developmental disabilities, learning differences, and behavioural or emotional challenges.
- Teach communication, social interaction, emotional regulation, play, executive functioning, adaptive living, and independence skills.
- Collect accurate clinical data and complete documentation in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with families, schools, and members of the multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain professional, ethical, and client-centred practise.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum two (2) years of direct experience providing behaviour therapy or ABA services.
- Experience working with children and young adults of all ages.
- Strong understanding and practical application of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA).
- Excellent rapport-building, behaviour management, and communication skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Behavioural Science, Child and Youth Care, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
- Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT) certification is considered an asset.
- CPI or crisis prevention training is considered an asset.
- Experience working within clinic, school, home, or community environments.
