Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista/All Rounder to join our dynamic team. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and assisting with various food service tasks. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the food industry, possess excellent time management skills, have a strong ability to memorize recipes, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Previous barista experience is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided. This position offers an engaging work environment where you can develop your skills in food handling, cashiering, and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and other drinks using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Assist with food preparation and food safety practices to ensure quality standards are maintained
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service to create a welcoming atmosphere
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, adhering to food safety regulations
- Support team members with serving food and beverages as needed
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
- Memorize and accurately follow all beverage and food recipes, especially during peak hours
Experience
- Previous experience as a barista or in the food industry is highly desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing
- Experience in food preparation, serving, and food safety practices is preferred
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Proven ability to memorize recipes and maintain accuracy while working in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $17.60-$18.10 per hour
