Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. This will be for our Humboldt to Saskatoon daily run. The ideal candidate will have a class 5 drivers licence, will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism to support our company's logistics operations.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport freight and goods to designated destinations
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to maintain safety standards
- Maintain proper documentation of deliveries, including delivery receipts and logs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status or issues
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation duties
Skills
- Valid class 5 drivers license
- Experience with freight handling is an asset but we are willing to train.
- Basic automotive repair knowledge for minor vehicle troubleshooting and maintenance
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and delivery processes
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and customers

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
