We are seeking a physically fit, hardworking individual as a Driver Helper for our waste management industry client, for a 3 month contract in the Binbrook area.
Driver Helper needed immediately in Binbrook
$25/hr
Monday to Friday, 5am start (varying end times, some days can be 12 hours, 40+ hours per week)
3 month contract
Responsibilities:
- Working with a crew, assisting vacuum truck driver
- Pulling hoses, operating pumps, confined spaces work
- Ability to work out of town when required, home on weekends
- All accommodations will be provided and daily per diem (Daily Per Diem $60)
Requirements:
- Prior driver helper experience is an asset but not necessary
- Valid Confined Spaces certification and experience required
- Mandatory police check and pre-employment drug swab
- First week out of town must be have the financial resources to cover meals daily, with daily per diem reimbursed on first pay cheque
- Must be physically fit and have the ability to be on your feet for long periods
- Good communication skills
- Work well with a crew and following directions
- Must have own safety boots and high visibility safety vest - all other PPE will be provided
