Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Restoration Technician to join our team. This role involves restoring residential and commercial properties affected by water, fire, mold, or other damages. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in cleaning, construction, or restoration is a plus, but we are willing to provide training for the right candidate. This position offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills in the restoration industry while contributing to helping clients recover from property damage.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning and debris removal in damaged areas using appropriate techniques and equipment
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely to remove damaged materials and prepare sites for restoration
- Assist with construction tasks such as drywall installation, painting, and minor repairs as needed
- Use specialized restoration equipment to dry out structures and prevent mold growth
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment throughout projects
- Document work progress and communicate effectively with team members and clients
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of equipment at job sites
- Support the team in completing projects efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality
Qualifications
- Prior experience in cleaning, construction, or restoration projects
- Current WTR, FIR, tickets
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Knowledge of basic construction practices is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various physical environments
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude toward learning new skills
- Willingness to follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $30.00-$36.00 per hour
