Position Overview
We are looking for a Camera Maintenance Technician based in Edmonton. This role involves travelling to various client sites to perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure our CCTV cameras remain fully operational.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to sites across Edmonton to maintain and adjust CCTV cameras.
- Charge and swap batteries on solar-powered camera units.
- Move and reposition cameras as required.
- Diagnose and address technical issues with cameras and related equipment.
- Safely climb ladders and use power tools for camera setup and adjustments.
- Maintain accurate records of camera servicing and movements.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle (mileage compensation provided).
- Comfortable with ladder work and using basic power tools.
- General knowledge of technology, especially CCTV or security systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Compensation
- $30–$40 per hour (depending on experience).
- Mileage costs covered for travel between sites.
Working Conditions
- Field-based role with frequent travel between sites.
- Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
- Occasional evening or weekend work may be required.
