Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Prepare patients for dental work
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
- Take X-rays or dental impressions
- Perform various office tasks as needed
Requirements
- Certification or associate degree in Dental Assisting
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Proficiency in Dentrix,
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred; however, new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) is beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact positively with patients of all ages, especially children in pediatric settings.
- Certification in Dental Assisting or relevant state licensure is required.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- A proactive attitude towards learning new techniques and procedures in dentistry.

Job Type: Part-time 30 hrs weekly
Pay: $26.00-$28.00 per hour
