Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for all visitors. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic hospitality setting where attention to detail and excellent service are valued. Prior experience in cleaning or custodial work, especially within hotels or similar environments, is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as hallways, lobbies, and restrooms
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and according to established standards
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to management
- Restock amenities and supplies as needed to ensure guest satisfaction
- Follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals responsibly to maintain a safe work environment
- Adhere to hotel policies regarding confidentiality, security, and guest privacy
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, custodial work, or industrial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning duties, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures is a plus
- Prior hospitality or custodial experience is advantageous but not required; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential
