We are looking for a reliable, motivated Handyman / Construction Labourer to join our team and grow with us. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, works well with others, and is willing to learn. Experience is an asset, but we are happy to provide training for the right person.
Responsibilities
- Assist with residential construction projects
- Perform basic handyman tasks, including minor carpentry, painting, and general repairs
- Safely use hand and power tools
- Move, pack, and transport materials and household contents
- Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding work
- Follow instructions and adhere to all safety procedures
- Work collaboratively with team members on a variety of job sites
Requirements
- A basic technical aptitude; you are good at putting things together
- Good attention to detail
- Strong work ethic and willingness to work hard when required
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
- Experience with basic trades such as carpentry, painting, drywall repair, or general maintenance is an asset
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including heavy lifting
- Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record
- Minimum 3 years of Alberta / Canada insurance history (required to operate a company vehicle)
- Must currently live in Calgary or the surrounding area
- Construction or renovation experience is preferred but not required
Schedule
- Regular hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- We operate 24/7 and have an on-call rotation. Team members must be available for after-hours emergency response on scheduled on-call days.
