Overview
Nguyen Painting Co. is looking for an experienced Automotive Painter / Prep Technician to join our growing team.
We specialize in high-quality collision repairs, fleet refurbishing, aviation refinishing, and specialty paint work. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their craftsmanship, works efficiently, and enjoys being part of a team that values quality.

Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicles and components for paint by sanding, masking, feather edging and cleaning surfaces.
- Prime repaired panels and perform block sanding as required.
- Knowledge of paint basecoat and clearcoat systems an asset but not required
- Perform minor body repairs and R&I (Remove & Install) of trim, mouldings, lights and panels.
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets company quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.
- Work alongside estimators and technicians to complete repairs on schedule.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an automotive painter or prep technician preferred.
- Strong knowledge of refinishing techniques and paint preparation.
- Experience using spray guns, sanders and other refinishing equipment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence.
- Positive attitude with strong attention to detail.
- I-CAR or Red Seal certification is considered an asset but is not required.
