Clarington Toyota is looking for an experienced Parts Advisor to join our successful parts team. This position will help operate the parts department by receiving incoming parts shipments into our inventory system. It will also help our service department by providing requested parts and by helping customers seeking parts at the retail counter. Responsibilities:
· Receive and sort incoming parts and supplies.
· Store items in an orderly accessible manner.
· Process incoming requisitions and distribute parts for internal usage.
· Maintain records of orders and sales.
· Manage and update internal inventory system.
· Sell parts and supplies to retail customers over the counter.
· Advise customers on appropriate parts and supplies.
A Successful Candidate must:
· Have relevant parts experience in an automotive environment
· Be a team player and self-motivated.
· Attention to detail.
· Hold a valid driver’s license.
· Be able to manage time in a fast-paced environment.
· Capability of lifting 30+ lbs.
· Be able to work Saturdays.
· It would be an asset to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
Compensation:
This position’s compensation rate is $21.00 per hour, with a standard 40+ hour work week.
