We specialize in creating custom outdoor spaces that combine thoughtful design, quality craftsmanship, and long-term durability. Our projects include custom decks, pergolas, outdoor kitchens, retaining walls, fencing, natural stone installations, pools, and complete landscape transformations.
We are looking for an experienced Red Seal Carpenter who takes pride in their work, pays attention to the details, and enjoys building custom projects to a high standard.
Position Overview
The Red Seal Carpenter plays a key role in the successful delivery of our landscape construction projects. This position is responsible for building custom outdoor structures, maintaining quality standards, and helping ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys problem-solving, takes ownership of their work, and values craftsmanship.
Responsibilities
Construction
- Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Construct decks, pergolas, privacy screens, fences, gates, planters, outdoor kitchens, and other custom structures.
- Complete framing, finishing, and structural carpentry work.
- Ensure all work is built accurately, level, plumb, square, and to specification.
- Identify site challenges and work collaboratively to develop solutions.
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship throughout all phases of construction.
Project Execution
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Crew Leads, and other trades.
- Assist with material planning and organization.
- Support efficient project execution while maintaining quality standards.
- Contribute to a clean, organized, and productive job site.
Safety
- Follow company safety procedures and WorkSafeBC requirements.
- Operate tools and equipment safely and responsibly.
- Maintain company tools and equipment in good working order.
Qualifications
Required
- Red Seal Carpenter Certification.
- Minimum 5 years of carpentry experience.
- Strong understanding of framing and finish carpentry.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions.
Preferred
- Landscape construction experience.
- Experience building outdoor living structures.
- Experience with natural stone or masonry.
- Equipment operating experience.
- Occupational First Aid certification.

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
