As we continue to grow and evolve, we are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our People & Culture team on a two-year term basis. As a key member of our Talent Acquisition team, you will support full-cycle recruitment efforts for specialized healthcare and operational positions across the organization. Working closely with hiring leaders and the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will help attract, assess, and onboard professionals who contribute to exceptional patient care. Guided by our brand DNA, Clarity through Caring, you will play a critical role in attracting highly specialized healthcare professionals while helping to shape the future workforce of our organization.
What You’ll Do
- Full-Cycle Talent Acquisition: Support and manage end-to-end recruitment processes including preparing, sourcing, screening, selection, hiring and onboarding coordination.
- Strategic Talent Acquisition: Execute and contribute to innovative recruitment strategies to attract highly specialized healthcare professionals.
- Pipeline Development: Build strong talent pools for specialized and difficult-to-fill positions by identifying and engaging top talent from professional networks, industry associations, educational institutions, social media, events, conferences, and other recruitment channels.
- Coaching and Mentorship: Guide hiring leaders and internal partners on recruitment-related matters, including strategy, talent market considerations, hiring processes, and selection best practices, while ensuring compliance with legislative standards and industry best practices.
- Talent Marketing: Create compelling recruitment materials, including job postings, outreach messages, and social media content, that reflect our commitment to Clarity through Caring.
- Community Engagement: Represent CDC at industry conferences, career fairs, networking events, and other recruitment initiatives, helping promote CDC’s culture, values, and employee experience to prospective candidates.
- Talent Acquisition Analytics: Track and monitor recruitment metrics to inform decisions, identify opportunities for improvement, and help drive sustainable change.
- Collaboration: Partner with Hiring Managers, HR Advisors, Payroll & Benefits, and other teams to help deliver a seamless and thoughtful Talent Acquisition experience.
- Improve Processes and Programs: Contribute to the ongoing evolution of recruitment tools, processes, strategies, and projects.
- Uphold Standards and Compliance: Promote adherence to protocols, processes, legislative, and regulatory requirements.
- Expand Expertise: Engage in ongoing professional development, staying up to date on industry best practices to provide innovative solutions and informed insights to hiring leaders.
What We’re Looking For
- Talent Acquisition Expertise: Demonstrated full-cycle recruitment experience encompassing preparation, sourcing, screening, selection, hiring, and onboarding, with the ability to support specialized and difficult-to-fill searches in alignment with best practices and employment legislation.
- Pipeline Development Skills: Success supporting and creating attraction strategies to identify, engage, and nurture relationships with current and future candidates.
- Industry Experience: Background recruiting in a healthcare environment or another technical or regulated environment such as engineering, software, energy, or professional services.
- Education: Degree or diploma in Human Resources Management or a related field.
- Professional Membership: RPR or CPHR designation is an asset.
- Technology Proficiency: Comfort using complex business tools and systems including Applicant Tracking Systems, Microsoft Office, and integrated human resources information systems such as Ceridian Dayforce.
- Talent Marketing: Experience creating clear and compelling recruitment materials, including job postings, outreach messages, and social media content.
- Ambassadorship: The ability to represent CDC with warmth and clarity, promote career opportunities, and build candidate engagement at conferences, career fairs, networking events, and other recruitment initiatives.
- Analytics Competency: Skilled in tracking recruitment metrics and using data to support decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.
- A Compassionate Approach: Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a highly developed interpersonal approach that builds trust across all levels of the organization.
