We are seeking a skilled trades person to join our team as a service technician / equipment installer. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction, trades, and/or the service industry. Carwash experience is an asset however we will train the right individual. This is a Full Time position and will start immediately. Our head office is located in the Niagara Region however we are open to applicants from across Southern Ontario as this role is primarily based in the field. Our customer base stretches from Windsor to Ottawa and north to Sault Ste Marie.
The successful candidate will be responsible for equipment installation, maintenance and repair at customer sites across Ontario, and for documenting related repairs and services. This position also recommends changes in systems, programs, and equipment to improve reliability, increase capability, and/or reduce customer costs. The successful candidate will perform the following duties in the field with minimal supervision:
Key Responsibilities
- Performs periodic scheduled and preventive maintenance on equipment as assigned by dispatch
- Responsible for accurately troubleshooting chemical, mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment, PLC controllers and power supplies.
- Provide sound technical assistance to our customers
- Provide on-site technical training for customer personnel pertaining to use, operation, and maintenance
- May assist in the installation of new carwash equipment
- Performs repairs and corrects malfunctions as necessary
- Modifies or updates equipment when required
- Maintains tools, test equipment, and materials in a professional manner
- Maintains all company owned and leased equipment in proper working condition
- Operate and maintain company vehicle in a clean, safe and courteous manner, while obeying local laws and regulations
- May work with processes that are unique to customer needs
- Involved in the problem-solving process regarding customer complaints
- Interacts with customers and related company personnel to ensure clear communication of information required in establishing superior customer service
- Accurately perceives information from others. Assures appropriate flow of information and reports matters clearly, concisely, and accurately.

- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, climb and use hands to grip regularly.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Prolonged periods of sitting.
