Key Responsibilities
Accurately prepare, review, and verify prescriptions in compliance with provincial and federal regulations
Provide professional counseling to patients regarding specialty medications, proper usage, side effects, and adherence
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Assist with inventory management, medication ordering, and pharmacy workflow
Support the delivery of exceptional customer service and patient-centered care
Ensure compliance with all pharmacy standards, policies, and procedures
Qualifications
Licensed (or eligible for licensure) as a Pharmacist in British Columbia
Previous experience in specialty pharmacy or with specialty medications is considered a strong asset
Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Injection certification is considered an asset
